These comfy, thick slippers worked up in less than a day. I'm calling them my Mister Roger Slippers because they hang out in the side pouch of my craft room recliner and I slip off my other shoes to put these on. They're pretty perfect. I also may or may not have bought a bunch of different colors to make more for a listing in the future. We'll see...

My skull sweater is done! 8 months of work, 37,139 stitches, plenty of frogging to get it to fit just right, and so many opportunities to grow my skills with new stitches and new ways of garment construction. I'm excited it's done and that the temperature up here is allowing for a couple more days of sweater weather. Thanks if you've been following my updates on this thang. It was an adventure, now peace out!
Pattern: Dainty Bones Pullover by @restless.hooks Yarn/Colorway: 100% superwash merino DK/Heartless by @handful_of_yarn As we've been getting closer to Christmas, my daughter was obsessed with one song and it's been playing on repeat. I found a pattern to make her her own hippopotamus as an early Christmas gift and she hasn't put it down.
Pattern: Lau Loves Crochet Have you ever started a project for yourself and then had the best idea to gift it to someone else for their birthday because you knew they would love it way more than you?
I made a Harry Potter advent countdown for my bestie's birthday. Opening one package a day, she'll reveal one Harry Potter themed crochet doll after another with the last one on her actual birthday. I also added a Hogwarts worthy letter in the basket to explain how the whole thing would work. I may or may not have needed an excuse to purchase a Hogwarts wax seal kit *wink, wink. The last doll is my friend as a Quidditch player with her favorite number. Pattern: Harry Potter Crochet kit General Conference weekend has been the perfect time to finish my commission for a retro 70'sbutterfly shawl. Because of the customer's choice, I used Chenille yarn so it'd be really soft! I'm so grateful for commissions because of the new skills and techniques I'm taught. I used sewing thread to connect the circles to each other and then the velvet yarn to reinforce those connections. This pattern used 880 yards of yarn and a giant 15.75mm P/Q crochet hook.
Pattern: Vintage Girl 007 Here is the super secret thing I've been working on since May! Each row has 5 squares on it and each square measures at 12" with a different style and texture! Some were already 12" and some needed an excel spreadsheet to help me map out the increases to get them to measure 12". Click on the pictures to see the 25 squares I did plus, a close up so you can see the details. There are also links for the squares that had patterns and instructions.
After they were made and blocked, I binded them together in between and then made a lovely border. The best part of making a blanket has to be that it keeps your lap and legs warm while you are working on it. And the result was well worth all the work and love that went into it! To say she loved the blanket would be an understatement. It was a birthday gift for my beautiful niece! I had so much fun working on this for her. I hope it keeps her warm and comfy always!
More baby booties, nursing covers, and commissions. I also launched my first pattern , a life-sized Baby Yoda (Grogu) that measures at 12" tall. People could buy the digital pattern or commission me to make one for them. I started working on my Appa pattern by testing out some things to get a perfectly straight arrow. And my family wasn't forgotten. I made the boys masks from one of their favorite shows.

I just finished a commission of crocheted oranges for someone who likes to start working on their costume early like I do. They are the perfect prop to put her Orange Blossom costume over the top.
Pattern: The Craft Frog I rewarded myself with a break from my big secret project because it's 65% done. I've been meaning to find a creative way to make assignments for our FHE sign that I inherited a long time ago. I found the perfect alphabet pattern forever ago and I decided to finally use it for this. First letter of our names in our favorite colors. It was a super quick project and the boys got excited seeing their letter come to life. I dipped them in watered down Elmer's glue to keep them from curling and to hlep them last a long time.
Pattern: Moogly I'm glad I have Catboy and Gekko to protect me during bedtime because that's the right time to fight crime! You can tell what we've been watching over here. I found a great pattern and worked on these mask in secret after they went to bed. They were easy to work up and these boys were so excited when I handed them to them.
