T-Shirt Yarn Basket - Free Pattern

3/4/2024

Picture
Don't mind me, using this basket to hold my mandrake. Ha! For real, though, I wanted another basket with handles to carry my WIPs (works in progress) around the house. In order to save myself some yarn and have a sturdy bottom, I purchased some thick felt pads with pre-punched holes from a seller on Etsy. Link to that specific one is down below. It worked up quickly and was fun to make. This project was used as a basket while making itself into a basket. It felt like basket-ception. Here is a free pattern with and without a felt bottom base. Enjoy and happy crocheting!!

  • rd: round
  • sc: single crochet
  • inc: increase - two stitches in one stitch

Letters for the Fam

I rewarded myself with a break from my big secret project because it's 65% done. I've been meaning to find a creative way to make assignments for our FHE sign that I inherited a long time ago. I found the perfect alphabet pattern forever ago and I decided to finally use it for this. First letter of our names in our favorite colors. It was a super quick project and the boys got excited seeing their letter come to life. I dipped them in watered down Elmer's glue to keep them from curling and to hlep them last a long time.
