I made this blanket for a great friend who was pregnant with their rainbow baby miracle. I wanted a soft blanket with lots of texture for this sweet baby to enjoy when they are doing tummy time or needing something to cuddle. I’ve made something similar for my own babies and they love it. For $2.50 pdf version: STRIPED BOBBLE BABY BLANKET pattern

It all started when a friend tagged me in a recommendation for her friend's plea looking for someone who crochets. She wanted an Owlbear (owl head, bear body) from DnD in a certain style and the length of her baby, 18 inches. She sent me reference photos and I created a pattern on my own. This project took 5 days of planning, creating, and a whole lot of Top Chef. If you look up Owlbear on Google, you will not get something as cute and cuddly as this.
Pattern: to be posted I made this cute shirt for Oliver's sweet, little friend as a birthday gift. It's magical and happy just like her! Shirt and paints from Hobby Lobby.
Technique: using my Cricut to cut out the design onto freezer paper, ironing on the freezer paper (wax side down) to the shirt for a secure frame, puff-painting the design with paint brushes, letting it dry overnight, and removing the freezer paper the next day for the final reveal. We've made so many things this way and it's easy and inexpensive. Last week at church, a friend had dropped her baby's binky on the floor and after helping her scour the room, it was nowhere to be found.
I asked, "Do you own a binky clip?" She replied, "No, I don't." *idea alarms and sirens go off* I eagerly said, "Can I make you one?" I ordered some pacifier clips from Amazon, found a stitch style that I felt she would like from my Crochet Stitch Dictionary, and grew my skills in the process. It's a cool feeling when you have a skill that can make someone's life easier, kind of like a super power. Pattern: to be posted My craft during General Conference was to create a wig for Baby E's Halloween costume. We are going to be the Mystery Gang from Scooby Doo. Since my baby girl doesn't have red hair, let alone any hair at all, I made her a wig out of yarn. I made the cap first then attached strands to be the length and thickness I wanted. Finally, the wig was topped off with a crocheted, purple headband. Happy Halloween!
Pattern: Tots and Bottoms Today, I finished my first commission where I had to create the pattern myself. I was given reference pictures of the Blue Ghost firefly to make this little 7" buddy. I even got to purchase some glow-in-the-dark yarn to give the firefly his glowing belly. This was a fun project and I hope the customer who bought it, loves it!
My beautiful friend, Jenifer, made Baby Evelyn a quilt and commissioned me to crochet her a fox to match. I used the fox pattern found in my hard copy of Edward's Menagerie. It's the perfect addition to everything that we are doing to get ready for this cute baby girl.
Why settle for generic and plain patterns when you can be the coolest Mom on the block? Wear your passion proudly! These stretchy nerd prints are perfect for covering your car seat and giving you the right amount of privacy for nursing time. Now for sale in my shop!
I've made these for me, my best friend, my neighbor, and others who wanted something fun as they became Moms for the first time. Pattern: Fleece Fun I made a baby blanket for Baby Evelyn and it took me less than 1.5 weeks. I've been casually working on it while sitting next to the a/c vent for hot and swollen pregnancy reasons. It's been enjoyable to make and it will be perfect for her little body come winter. It measures 28" x 30".
