Fasten off, cut yarn, weave in ends

With your black yarn in your tapestry needle, replicate the web design on the picture. Work the diagonal lines all the way to the back of the cowl.

For my lines, I used an embroidery technique to keep the lines straight. This tutorial of the backstitch works perfectly with your tapestry needle and black yarn.

When the webs are made, secure them with knots inside the cowl and then weave in the ends so they don't come lose.

BUTTON - two parts
​PART 1, start in black

Finish off, leave a long tail, cut yarn

PART 2, start in white

Finish off, leave long tail, cut yarn

Attach PART 2 to PART 1 using your tapestry needle to center the white on the black by sewing around the edges. Secure the white yarn ends and then cut. Now, with PART 1 and 2 combined, you have your BUTTON completed. Center the BUTTON on to the black stripe of the BALL and sew around the edges with your tapestry needle to attach it to the BALL. Secure the black yarn ends and then cut.
